Ms Sacha Filia
 
Ms Sacha Filia is a Research Fellow at the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc). She joined the MAPrc in 1996 after completing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Clinical Psychology at The University of Melbourne. Over this time, Sacha has worked on a range of different projects at the MAPrc. She is coordinator of the Healthy Lifestyles and Outcomes Stream of research at the MAPrc. Sacha is an Associate Investigator on a NHMRC project grant aimed at assisting people experiencing mental illness to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) by quitting smoking and making other positive lifestyle changes. She is also completing a PhD in the School of Psychiatry, Psychology and Psychological Medicine at Monash University.
