Women’s mental health: Still not a priority, still not good enough

Professor Jayashri Kulkarni calls on mental health and health professionals to make women’s mental health a priority in the article ‘Women’s mental health: Still not a priority, still not good enough’ published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry. In the article, Professor Kulkarni outlines some of the  environmental, sociocultural, psychological and biological factors which impact differentially and specifically on women’s mental health and urges a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to the care of women with mental ill health.
